We are currently testing a new version of the WikiHouse system. If it it works, it will represent a huge leap in the performance and simplicity of the system. We aim to be releasing documentation in Summer 2021.
The WikiHouse team at OSL are working in collaboration with an incredible group of experts and pioneers from Edinburgh University, Three Create, Real Living Homes and Leeds Beckett University and BRE to develop and test this new version of the system, including carrying out structural tests and factory assembly tests. This work has been part funded by InnovateUK, and will be completed in Spring 2021. Once we are satisfied that the system is safe we will be openly publishing full documentation of the system and the research, so it is available to everyone across the UK and beyond.
If you’d like to be the first to hear any updates, you can join the WikiHouse Contributors Community Slack here. Thanks for your patience. We’re excited.
